Hypnosis concert held in Beijing
The rock-and-roll sisterhood gathered in London on Sunday as female singers helped to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer.
Shows featuring hypnosis are a fresh idea to many. Recently, some people got to actually experience it at the ongoing Notch Art Festival being held in Beijing’s San Li Tun Village.
The audio and video extravaganza helped the audience enter a sleeplike state, which is a unique experience while listening to music.
Rather than sitting in ordinary seats, audience members laid down on huge cushions to allow their eyes and ears to enjoy the audio/visual feast. Abstract images were projected onto the ceiling, and frequently transformed according to the rhythm of the music.
The hypnosis concerts are jointly held at the trendy shopping district by artists from Northern Europe and China. They offer a unique experience for music lovers, leading them on a journey carried by imagination, illusion, and their own subconscious
The show was organized by Hard Rock as part of its series of Pinktober events which help to fund research into a cure for breast cancer.
In keeping with the Pink theme, stars and guests walked a pink carpet on their way to watch the concert.
Other performers included Jamelia, Nerina Pallot, the cast of “Mamma Mia,” Queen’s Brian May bucked the woman only trend by accompanying a group called “Woman.”
In the UK, money raised by the gig went to the Caron Keating Foundation, a charity that supports both cancer sufferers and their families.
